Ignite

A night on November 6,2016 for all of Tulsa’s young adult ministries to come together at the Union Performing Arts Center. Free registration. 2000 tickets available. Tickets also have a donation option as we are raising funds for the Performing Arts Center. Juniors in high school to 30 year olds are welcome.

Luke 3:16-17 MSG
But John intervened: “I’m baptizing you here in the river. The main character in this drama, to whom I’m a mere stagehand, will ignite the kingdom life, a fire, the Holy Spirit within you, changing you from the inside out. He’s going to clean house—make a clean sweep of your lives. He’ll place everything true in its proper place before God; everything false he’ll put out with the trash to be burned.”

We believe God has called us to do this event for one reason. Where unity around the name of Jesus is there too is the power and presence of God. We love what John says here in Luke. Yes, we know it is the MSG translation. I do believe these words can be backed up with verses throughout the ESV Bible though. John tells us that Jesus will come, and He will ignite the kingdom life. In other words, when Jesus comes He is the one who sparks the kingdom coming in someone’s life. He then says that a fire from the Holy Spirit will come from within us, and that we will be changed from the inside out.

It is our goal that we would create an environment in Tulsa, Oklahoma where people that love Jesus could come, and they could be changed from the inside out. That a fire could be kindled in the hearts of young adults around Tulsa, Oklahoma. That God could ultimately set young adult souls on fire, and in doing so, ignite a revival across the city of Tulsa.

This will be a night to remove the distractions of doctrinal differences. It will be a night of ignition! Lets come together to be set free and compelled by the beauty of Jesus.
